PARTICIPANT INFORMATION & IMPORTANT GUIDELINES
✨ BE PREPARED • BE PUNCTUAL • BE RESPECTFUL • BE PROUD
We kindly ask all participants, parents and guardians to take note of the following important information. Your cooperation will assist us in ensuring that the Allegretto Inter Provincial Eisteddfod is conducted in a professional, fair, safe and enjoyable manner for everyone.
⏰ ARRIVAL & REGISTRATION
Participants are required to report to the Eisteddfod Centre at least 20 minutes before their scheduled performance time, as indicated on the official programme.
Each participant must register in the foyer for every entered item. All required pro forma documentation must be completed fully and correctly. This is essential to ensure that every participant receives a fair and properly administered Eisteddfod experience.
Please arrive prepared, punctual and ready to perform.
👨👩👧 PARENT & GUARDIAN SUPERVISION
All participants must be accompanied by a parent and/or guardian.
Allegretto Inter Provincial Eisteddfod, its Committee members, organisers and representatives accept no responsibility for the safety of participants, injuries, accidents or any other incident occurring on or off stage during the Eisteddfod process.
The presence, supervision and support of parents and guardians are therefore of utmost importance.
📅 SCHEDULED PERFORMANCE TIMES
Participants must adhere strictly to the day and time allocated to each item.
No participant will be permitted to perform an item before or after its scheduled time.
Should a special request regarding participation or scheduling be necessary, the request must be submitted in writing via email to:
ceo.allegrettogauteng@outlook.com
All requests will be considered at the discretion of the Eisteddfod organisers.
🎭 OUT-OF-SECTION ENTRIES
Out-of-section performances may only be considered where there is a valid motivation.
Where applicable, a Doctor’s Note must also be submitted.
Participants and/or educators should liaise with the relevant Section Coordinator regarding such requests.
🏆 NEXT LEVEL PARTICIPATION
Participants selected for participation at the next level of the Allegretto Inter Provincial Eisteddfod will be required to register and enter again for that level in order to confirm their participation.
Selection at one level does not constitute automatic entry into the following level.
